My experience with this nail polish
Monsoons make my days quite gloomy and I usually have this tendency to include more of bright things into my life - home decor stuffs, paintings, makeup, food etc to brighten up my days a bit. This nail polish has been perfect to give me "cheer-me-up" nails in these grey days. It is a gorgeous pinky-red shade, kind of bright pink mixed with toned down red that can instantly make my hands and nails look great. The consistency of the nail polish is quite apt and the brush applicator gives a smooth finish in one go. The nail polish is quite opaque in imparting the color in first application itself, however I always believe that two coats seal the color and smooth texture well.
With two coats, I could get a flawless finish even with my clumsy application technique. It dries off pretty quick i.e. within 2-3 minutes, which is good for people like me who have 24 X 7 hours job of taking care of a little one.. :P
I quite loved the staying power of this nail polish, as it stays put for around a week without chipping off. It means a lot to me as I spend a lot of time doing my household chores and taking care of my 7.5 months old son.
The only con that I can think of about this nail polish is its strong smell of acetone, that lingers for a while after application. It literally stung my nose and stayed around my nails for around 15-20 minutes, after which I could no longer tolerate it and washed my hands to get rid of it.
Overall, if you are looking for a bright pink based nail polish, and are not willing to get that "in-your-face" red, then this can be a perfect choice for you. I usually love such nail polishes as they kind of make your hands look seductive.. :D
