My experience with the products:

I began using all the three products from this range around a week back and I quite liked the range so far. I even asked my sister to try this range since a week, as she had just came back from a week's excursion trip with heavy tan on her face, and the products from this range have already shown the effects much more visible on her. We both have been using the products in the steps as per mentioned by the range -

  • Wash the face with the facewash first.
  • Use Scrub to exfoliate
  • Apply mask

Let us get to the each product one by one:

Lakme Clean up Fresh Fairness Facewash:

Lakme Clean Up Range - Fresh Fairness : Face wash

Price: INR 160 for 100 grams

My experience

The first thing that I loved the most about this entire range is its lovely pink packaging. It gives you an extra girly feeling, don't you think! Anyways, this facewash comes in a cute pink tube with a nice and handy flip open cap. The facwash has gel like appearance and medium consistency. It lathers well, cleanses off the oil and dirt, and gets rinsed off easily. It has this lovely fruity-floral fragrance which is quite relaxing to the senses. I like the way it effectively works in cleansing my face without being too harsh on my skin. I haven't felt any dryness (on my oily-combination skin!) after washing my face with this facewash. The presence of Menthol gives a nice cooling and refreshing effect which feels good in current hot and humid climate. Overall, it is a decent facewash for every day use.

The only things that I didn't like much about this facewash are the chemicals in the ingredient list, especially the presence of SLS in it.

Lakme Clean up Fresh Fairness Face Scrub:

Price: INR 225 for 100 grams

Ingredients:
Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Walnut shell powder, Cocoamidopropyl Betaine, Glyceryl Stearate, Propylene Glycol, Zea Mays (Corn) Kernel Meal, PEG 100 Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Polysorbate 60, Acetylated Lanolin Alcohol, Titanium Dioxide, Perfume, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Tocopheryl acetate, Glycerin, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Fruit Extract, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Niacinamide, Cl 17200, PPG-2 Methyl Ether, Phenethyl Alcohol., DMDM Hydantoin, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone.

My experience

Exfoliation is one of the most essential step in my skin care routine and I am usually quite choosy about the scrub I choose for that purpose. I like my scrubs to be gentle on skin, yet good on removing the dead skin cells. This particular scrub from Lakme comes in a thick paste that is loaded with small granules. The granules are a bit bigger than my preference and feel a bit harsh. I have to ensure that I keep my finger movements as gentle as possible on my face, while using this scrub, otherwise I might end up getting rashes. Not a big fan of this scrub so far, and I don't think I'd include it in my everyday routine.
However, I made my sister use this scrub too and I could notice a great deal of difference in her tan with just one wash. It worked amazingly in removing the tan off her skin and bringing forth a smoother and much brighter skin. So, if you are looking for heavy exfoliation, then this can be apt for you.

Again the dislikes that I've felt about this scrub are the presence of chemicals (SLS again!) in the ingredients, and the fact that the granules are a bit harsher in action.

My experience:
For me, this is the star product of the range and I absolutely LOVE using it. The mask comes as a thick paste and is easy to spread evenly all over my face. It gives a nice cool effect to my skin and takes just 5-10 minutes to become dry. It gets easily rinsed off and gives a much smoother and refreshed skin. I have been using it quite regularly and feel my skin to be much better, brighter and relaxed. My sister is also loving using it and it has definitely helped her too in getting a better and softer skin with every usage.

I have no dislike from this product, except for the fact that it has parabens in its ingredients.

Overall, I feel this mask to be a must have product from the range.

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts  The best way to spend four hours of waiting period in Dubai transit is to do shopping. In all the shopping I did there, I bought this particular lotion as well. The main reasons behind buying this lotion were: 1) I wanted to try Olay as a brand as I’d heard a lot of good stories about it. 2) I wanted a light moisturizing face lotion that has SPF, UVA/UVB protection and could be worn easily below my foundation for day wear. Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts Price: $10 Quantity: 30 ml What does Olay say about its Natural White lotion ?

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review, Swatches

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes
