Top 5 favorite Bollywood Saree Divas

When it comes to wardrobe fantasies, a saree is an attire that has always fascinated me the most. One main reason behind this fascination may be the fact that I have grown up seeing the magic this dress could create to a woman’s whole look. Somehow, it has never gone out of fashion and is one of the most evergreen wardrobes a woman can have in her closet.

My Top 5 favorite Bollywood Saree Divas
My Top 5 favorite Bollywood Saree Divas

Though my mom has always been my favorite and most beautiful saree model till date, I can never miss noticing the amazing saree trends that keep coming in and out of fashion through our Bollywood divas. So, here I bring you some of my top favorite saree divas from our very own Bollywood movies. Check them out below:

1)      Aishwarya  Rai in movie “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam”

Aishwarya Rai in movie “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam”
Aishwarya  Rai in movie “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam”

The movie is famous for its own history, and for what good and bad it did to the people involved in making it, but things that make me go back to this movie again and again are the super gorgeous Sarees sported by Aishwarya Rai in second half of the movie.  Showcasing simplicity at its best, she definitely made a mark as an ultimate saree diva.

2) Kajol in movie “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”

Kajol portrayed an amazing character in the movie as she transformed from a bubbly college tom boy girl to a serene and beautiful lady. The plain chiffon and Georgette sarees sported by her in the movie still make me want to go hunt for them in the saree shops.

3)      Sushmita Sen in movie “Main Hoon Na”

Chaand mera dil, chaandni ho tum” – this was the song sung by Shah rukh khan, when Sushmita Sen made her entry in the movie. All I could focus on at that time was her lovely saree and how she’d accessorized it so beautifully. The saree that she wore for the “prom night” definitely takes the cake for being the “best” party wear saree I’ve seen anywhere till date.

4)      Aishwarya Rai in movie “Shabd”

Though the movie was easily forgettable for …whatever (let me not get into it!), I simply could not forget Aishwarya’s attire in the movie. It was certainly different, very fashionable, mysterious and kind of sensual. Her sarees spoke boldness in the colors ans designs she sported, while her accessories and make-up certainly made her do justice with her character of being a professor in fashion designing.

5)      Deepika Padukone in movie “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani”

Though this latest flick of Deepika Padukone got people’s attention to many travel places, it certainly brought back the magic of sarees as a fashionista’s glam. The gorgeous sarees sported by Deepika Padukone along with her fresh and lively get up, would make you forget about the notion that sarees are something for older people. Her youthful and bubbly personality did all the justice to her sarees and her whole look in every possible way.

Apart from these onscreen sarees, I’ve loved some of the sarees sported by these and other bollywood divas off the screen as well. Fortunately, I found some of these on Craftsvilla.com. The website has these and many more awesome sarees, lehengas and anarkali suit replicas of some of the super gorgeous designs sported by these celebrities at various occasions. Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts - Review

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts  The best way to spend four hours of waiting period in Dubai transit is to do shopping. In all the shopping I did there, I bought this particular lotion as well. The main reasons behind buying this lotion were: 1) I wanted to try Olay as a brand as I’d heard a lot of good stories about it. 2) I wanted a light moisturizing face lotion that has SPF, UVA/UVB protection and could be worn easily below my foundation for day wear. Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts Price: $10 Quantity: 30 ml What does Olay say about its Natural White lotion ?

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review, Swatches

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes
