L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence with SPF 30 - Review

L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence with SPF 30

It doesn't matter which season of the year you are in, you need to take well care of your skin under the sun. In summers, the sun becomes even harsher on your delicate skin and this fact makes it really important to choose the sunscreen that is perfect for you. I got a chance to try this sunscreen from L'Oreal Paris in past few weeks, and below goes my experience with the same.

L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence with SPF 30

My experience with L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence with SPF 30

L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence comes in a nice sleek bottle with a screw-open lid. It has a small pointed opening to get the product out, which is good as the product has slightly runny consistency. You need to be careful while taking it out, or you might end up with the extra product, leading to unnecessary wastage. The product is white in color with lotion like consistency, and is extremely light on application. One plus thing about L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence is that it doesn't leave any whitish cast on application and seamlessly blends into the skin. Also, it feels very light, so you can immediately put on your makeup over it, without waiting for it to get absorbed. It has slightly floral fragrance which isn't too strong or prominent after the application.
It works decently in protecting my skin under the harsh rays of sun. I usually stay indoors most of the time, but for occasional visits outside, I've used this sunscreen in past few weeks, and it did work wonderfully in keeping my skin safe from sun. My skin is super sensitive and has a tendency to start feeling burn and tan within 5 minutes of sun exposure. With L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence on, I didn't feel any such problem on my skin, even though many times I had to go out on the deadliest time of the day i.e. around the noon.
On the down side, it does give a little bit of shine on my oily-combination skin, immediately after the application. I definitely feel a need to apply compact powder on my face after applying this sunscreen, otherwise my skin may remind someone of a frying pan! Though the shine isn't exactly oily or sticky kind; it is just lightly there, indicating the presence of something over my face.
So, on that note, let us have a look at some of the likes and dislikes that I've felt about L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence with SPF 30:
Likes:
1) Nice handy packaging, which makes it travel friendly.
2) The lotion is very light weight, spreads easily and gets quickly absorbed into my skin.
3) It has mild floral fragrance, which isn't too bothering.
4) It comes with SPF 30 and does work well in keeping sun problems off the skin for at least 2 hours or so. I didn't try its staying power and as per general rule apply it again after 2 hours.
5) It never gave my skin any breakouts.
Dislikes:
1) It has slightly runny consistency, so you need to take out the product carefully.
2) It leaves a bit of shine on the face after application, so keep your compact powder ready to buff it off.

Overall, I find L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence with SPF 30 a good sunscreen for summers. If you like more of glossy makeup looks, then this can be perfect wear for a beach or pool party. However, if you have oily-combination skin like mine, you may not like it much.

Rating: 4/5 (B+)

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review, Swatches

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes

Syoss Professional Performance Repair Therapy Shampoo - Review

Syoss Professional Performance Repair Therapy Shampoo During my visits to Germany, I spend a lot of time watching TV commercials, because of the only reason that I can somehow understand bits and pieces of them. I wasn't intending to buy any huge bottles, during my last trip, but I was so much intrigued by Syoss's continuous ads on the television, that I decided to give it a shot. I bought Syoss professional repair therapy shampoo from Muller mall, Germany. It has been 3 months now, since I've been using this shampoo and hence thought of reviewing it here. Check the ad below: What does the brand say about this product? Online Amazon Shopping In India -Estee Lauder Defining Beauty cosmetic travel Set 5pc

I ordered this five piece Estee Lauder cosmetics travel kit from Amazon on January 27th, 2011, and I received the package today. What a lovely day to receive such things! I've always been quite impressed with the kind of packaging Amazon gives. The hardboard case, the thermocols and multiple levels of bubble wrapping around the products, makes it absolutely next to impossible for the package to get damaged in anyway on its own, unless you run a road-roller over it. I ordered for this particular kit, just because I wanted to try all of these stuffs, without having to spend a fortune on any. The package contains following products. I am mentioning the name along with the quantities here:
