Review: Lakme Enrich Satins Lipstick - #131 from Lakme Fantasy Collection

The best thing about the lipsticks range in Lakme's Fantasy Collection is that they included different shades of pinks in it. I am a sucker of nude shade lipsticks and pinks, and the moment I saw shades #131 and #135, I thought of trying them out. At Lakme counter I asked SA to first apply #135 on me, as I thought it'd compliment the golden-burgundy eyeshadow makeup she had put on my from Lakme Fantasy Collection Botanica Quad. Lakme Enrich Satin #135 was a beautiful muted fuchsia and I really loved the color. However, I felt certain similarity of the shade, with what I could make at home after mixing two shades I already have. Next, I asked her to apply #131, and it was such a gorgeous pinky nude shade lipstick, that I picked it up instantly and brought it home! About Lakme Enrich Satins Lipsticks Cast a spell in satin. Rich color takes life in a luxuriously creamy stick that brings satin to your lips. Enriched with sunscreens, vitamins and goodness of olives, your lips wi...

In my last haul , I got myself Lakme Enrich Stain lipstick #131 and Shadow Artist Shimmer Stick - Starry night. Review: Eva Slider Lip Balm in Strawberry

I bought this particular lip balm while doing my grocery shopping. I was quite intrigued with its packet that said it had slider opening. I’ve been using this lip balm since 4 weeks now and I have to say that I am quite impressed with the product. Price: INR 60/- My experience with the lip balm: I usually don't use tinted lip balms. All of my lip balms till date have been transparent and now I really wonder over myself, why I never thought of using tinted ones before. This particular lip balm though looks scary in its casing, gives a beautiful natural flush to my lips and makes them look beautiful without the obviousness of them carrying a lipstick. I usually sit at my desk at my office whole day, surrounded with lots of other people who sit in cubicles around me and I can easily apply this lip balm, without feeling too conscious about anyone watching me. Also I love the slider casing of this balm. I don't need to use both my hands to apply this. I simply, slide the lid u...

Purchase from Lakme Fantasy Collection – Starry night and Lipstick - #131

I got to visit Lifestyle at Oasis Mall, Koramangala and was quite astonished to see all of the products from Lakme Fantasy Collection being available at the Lakme counter there. I also got a free makeover done by the Lakme SA, in which she used the products from this collection. As I wasn't carrying a camera that time, I couldn't click the pics. But, to be honest - this was the first time that I was happy with a makeover. My earlier makeovers done by YSL and Revlon were disastrous and each time hubby had to urge me to wash my face if I wanted to move around with me. This time even he complimented -----> Me happy!! :) The Lakme SA asked me about the kind of makeover I wanted to do. I asked her to do neutral makeup, because I didn't want to show too much color on my face in bright daylight. She applied Lakme skin corrector on my face that had SPF (I don’t remember the exact name). Its a new launch by Lakme from what she told me. After that, she used a pale beige eyeshado...

March Shopping - Hair Styling Products and Makeup from Faces,Maybelline, Ambika Pillai

I did a couple of makeup shopping in March, primarily to prepare for my big day. However, I hardly used much of this shopping for my get up. But, I still felt like sharing it all with you here. Products I bought this month: 1) Philips hair straightner 2) Giovanni hair styling lotion 3) Eva lip balm in strawberry 4) Maybelline Dream Mousse blush in soft plum 5) Maybelline Eyestudio pencil in White 6) Maybelline Primer with SPF 35+ 7) Ambika Pillai Black Eye Liner 8) Ambika Pillai Lite Lipgloss in Cotton Candy. I didn't want to buy anything from Maybelline, because they test on animals. However, with the limited choices we have in market on the price and quality, I had to buy certain essentials from them. I so wish ELF and NYX brands to be more prominent in Indian market now. I also ordered some FACES cosmetics from Fashion and You website. However, they messed up my order and instead of sending Mauve Blush, sent me a eyeshadow. I was quite pissed off with the goof up b...
