Review: Maybelline New York Chai Latte Quad - 22, Swatches, EOTD

I bought this quad after seeing it being raved so much on almost all beauty blogs. This is said to be the "must have" for anyone who wants to start with her "basic smoky eye look". Review: Himalaya Herbals Protein Shampoo

I love my hair to smell nice all the time, the reason why I stay away from coconut hair oil despite knowing the good things it can do to my hair. For the same reason, I love my shampoos, conditioners, hair creams and everything to smell nice and it becomes even better if they smell citrusy. Himalaya Herbals protein shampoo gave me the exact experience of having nice citrusy smelling hair, which I love a lot! About Himalaya Herbals Protein Shampoo Natural Protein Nourishment  Enriched with extracts of protein-rich herbs, Himalaya's new shampoo range nourishes your hair, giving you the three essential benefits that your hair needs - strength, reduced hair fall and protection from everyday damage  A mild formulation for those who

Review: NYC Mod Quad, Swatches, EOTD

This was the first eye shadow quad I ever bought for myself. Honestly, I wasn't planning to buy this one when I entered Duanne Reade store in New York near the metro station I got down at. But, the intense chill and snow fall outside forced me to enter the store and somehow impulsively I bought this in a hope to start with eye shadows. I was pretty dumb at the time I bought it and couldn't make much use of it because of my own lack of skills. Now, after getting much proficiency on eye makeup, I'd still say that I can not use it much for various reasons which are given below. Let us check out the quad, swatches and then my take on the product: About NYC Mod Quad Mix and match color for eyes! N.Y.C. Mod Quad creme liner + eyeshadow collection gives you three coordinated shadows plus one liner for dozens of eye looks. Highlight color and contour-smooth shadows blend easily for custome eye effects Price: $6 Below are the swatches: Left to right: Cream liner, white...

Senna 'Crazy Beautiful' Collection, Spring 2011

"Feminine brights and careless nudes mesh" Los Angeles, CA- Senna announces its new Spring 2011 Collection,‘Crazy Beautiful’, inspired by this spring’s ultra-feminine soft floral couture where nude makeup or very fresh pinks, corals, and teal are the perfect makeup accessory. The focus remains on the eyes and lips with a very subdued blush impression, achieved from ‘Fragile’ Sheer Matte Face Color. Eyes are colored with either a softly glowing neutral, ‘Taupe Glow’ Eye Color, washed over the entire eye and around the bottom of the lash line, or the artful combination of ‘Firefly’ and ‘Malachite’ Eye Colors. The intensity of this highly pigmented teal eye shadow is dazzled with the metallic glow of a creamy golden shadow (Firefly) lightly washed over it. To define the eye shape, ‘Black Magic’ Double Effect Eye Liner works two ways. Line the upper lid and wing out the line using the cream side of this duo liner. Layer over the line with a firm brush and the powder side o...

Product of the Day: Senna Tinted Makeup Primer

Senna has introduced its tinted makeup primer. Their best selling silky primer is now in sheer, sunny 'Honey Tint'. Makeup primers, once the domain of savvy makeup artists, are now mainstream because of the way they enhance the lasting power and smooth application of foundations of any type. Senna Cosmetics Silky Primer Under Makeup Smoothing Serum has been a favorite of top TV and film makeup artists because it stands up even under hot lights on sets. Now Senna offers those same makeup priming benefits in a formula that simultaneously adds a hint of healthy warmth to the skin. Silky Primer 'Honey Tint' not only gives a soft sun-kissed glow to the skin but it has a certain sheer opacity that enhances its ability to diminish the appearance of uneven skin tone, discolorations, blemishes, and redness. Antioxidant Vitamins A and E plus nurturing natural minerals help improve skin's condition. Like the classic Silky Primer, 'Honey Tint' is superbly silky for be...

Review : Oriflame Very Me Clickit Black Eye Liner

I am usually more of an eyeliner person than a Kajal. I rarely apply kajal on my eyes, but I've to use eyeliner, particularly black, before stepping out of my house. I've found that black eyeliners usually define my eyes much better and I don't have to worry about much about dark circles while using black eyeliners above my upper lash line. Because of the above reason, I usually stock my dressing table with loads of black eyeliners. I've till date used only liquid eye liners, and with years of practice have got certain level of control and proficiency in using them well. So, when Oriflame launched its “Very me” series of makeup range, I ordered this particular eye liner along with the mascara. As is the case with me all the time, the mascara was out of stock and so I ended up with this liner only. I've been using this eyeliner since past 2 months, almost regularly now and it is about to get over so thought of reviewing it here today. About Very me clickit black E...
