Review: Neutrogena 2-in-1 Visibly Clear Wash Mask

I bought this particular face pack in a combo pack that had this face pack and a cleansing water too, from Germany. There was no particular reason behind buying this pack, except for the fact that I was hunting for a decent face wash as I'd missed packing it in my bag. And I got this pack thinking that either of the both was a face wash! However this particular product can be used as facewash too, but I couldn't use it that way. I've been using it as face pack only. Today I'd be reviewing the face pack as I've used it many times in past couple of months and I somehow have liked the effects that it gave to my skin. About Neutrogena 2-in-1 Visibly Clear Wash Mask Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1 Wash & Mask is a unique cleanser that can be used in two different ways to help keep skin looking clear and healthy-every day.-Use as a daily wash to cleanse away make-up, dirt and excess oil and help prevent blemishes.-Use as a weekly mask to cleanse deep down into p...

Review: Freeman Beautiful Face Blueberry and Champagne Clarifying Peel off Face mask

This was the first peel off face mask that I ever got for myself, when I was in New York. I remember seeing one of my cousins using this mask to get rid of all the left over Holi colors from her skin. I was quite astonished to see the results, when she peeled the mask off her face as the mask had all these red and green spots in it that were the colors that had been uprooted from the depths of her skin, normally invisible to us. Seeing that result, I got this mask and I have been using it since a year now. Below goes the review: About Freeman Beautiful Face Blueberry and Champagne Clarifying Peel off Face mask: Lifts away dirt and oil. Revitalizes and refines Price: $4 at the time of purchase Quantity: 150 ml  Ingredients: Below are some pics: My experience with the face mask: During my initial usage of this product, I had some difficulty getting used to peel off masks. Though it is super fun to remove the dried mask from the nose, chin and around the forehead, it used to...

I usually refrain from using such fairness creams, and haven't given any other cream a try since I got my HG in Revlon's touch and glow face cream. However, I have been using this since a couple of months now and the results aren't that bad, so thought of reviewing it here today. About Oriflame Essentials fairness cream with mulberry extract and Vitamin E Oriflame Essentials Fairness cream is an every day face fairness cream that contains mulberry extracts and vitamin E for that glowing skin. New Lakme Fairness Sunscreen Range - With goodness of Cucumber and Lemongrass

Just stepping out till the neighborhood café?  Only going to be out in the sun till you enter your car? Enjoying drinking your morning tea by the window? Ever think about how even two minutes in the sun can damage your skin? Spots, wrinkles, uneven skin tone and tanning can all start with just two minutes in the sun. UV Radiation from the sun is the chief cause of Sunburn, and other severe skin concerns like melanoma, melasma and photoaging. UVB rays cause sun burn, which can be tackled by use of sunscreen (SPF content). UVA rays on the other hand are more damaging biologically. It can cause not just tanning, but wrinkling & leathering (photo aging), pigmentation and premature skin aging. To prevent this, you need a product with a good PA content. Keeping both these concerns in mind, Lakmé offers a break-through innovation in sun care that is dermatologist-approved. Hair & Care Silk-n-shine Hair potion with Fruit Vitamins - Review

Hair & Care Silk-n-shine Hair potion with Fruit Vitamins I usually have very dry hair that tend to become even more unmanageable every time I wash them with shampoo and conditioner. No matter what shampoo or conditioner I use, my hair tend to look fluffy and super dry the same day after the wash. However, strangely my hair take full one day to react properly to the conditioning part and become super silky and soft the next day of the wash! But they always give me nightmares on the day of the wash with their unmanageable texture, fluffiness, dryness, frizzyness and what not! Sometimes, I even feel that my hair somehow get charged up with ions that tend them to go up instead of going down after every wash. Anyways, I couldn't obviously roam around in office looking like a porcupine and so in order to cure this "hair going up, instead of going down" syndrome, I thought of getting some nice hair serum that can make my hair look human after every wash without weighin...

Experiment with gold and lavender - EOTD, FOTD

I tried this particular look today, because hubby was busy watching Transformers movie on TV and I had nothing better to do in hand.. I know lavender is somewhat cooler tone shade and gold - a warmer toned one.  I'd not have imagined much effects with both the colors together on a medium skin tone and brown eyed person like mine,. Mixing them both wouldn't result in an awesome result, but I really liked how this one turned up. Below are some pics: I used a shimmery light beige highlighter on the browbone, golden eyeshadow from my Inglot eyeshadow palette #430 on the inner half of the lids and along the waterline. The purplish-lavender shade is from my 88 eyeshadow palette from the brush company. Some more pics: And that is moi: I know, flash is making my eyes look like cat's eyes..lol. So, how did you find this look? Share your opinion with me in your comments!

Inglot custom eyeshadow palette - Review, Photos, Swatches

I got this particular palette made while my last trip to Delhi at Inglot's store - SelectCity Walk. This was my first experience with the Inglot store and all thanks to Rati , I had a wonderful time there. :) Now,coming to the palette, this also happens to be my first custom made palette too. I got three colors included in this palette and after that got another separate shade, just because I absolutely adored it. So, below is the palette, some photographs and swatches of the eyeshadows and a quick review ahead. From left to right: #382, #430, #422 Below is the extra shade that I got and the swatch: AMC #64 You can see it gives good amount of fall out, so have to be extra careful in using it. #382(Matte)  is a beautiful matte red colored shade. Though it gives matte finishing, it is decently pigmented, glides well and is quite smooth on application. The red is also not very scary on eyes, but it depends on how you build the color too. I usually apply one stroke a...

Review: Himalaya Herbals Deep Cleansing Milk

After getting loads of water proof cosmetics from Germany, I was on a hunt to get a decent makeup remover, which could make my life easy in cleaning the makeup properly. I got Biotique cleansing oil to do the job, but sadly it gave me break outs after just 4-5 days of usage. I already had Neutrogena cleansing water that time, but it was alcohol based and I was quite scared to use it. I wanted a strong cleansing milk that could be gentle on my skin, yet could remove my makeup effectively. After contemplating much on all the choices I had, I chose to get Himalaya cleansing milk. Below are the details: About Himalaya Deep Cleansing Milk A unique formulation of natural ingredients that cleanses and refreshes your skin. It penetrates deep to gently remove dirt, grime and make-up. Enriched with Cucumber to cool and soothe your skin, and soapnut to remove excess oil, it leaves your skin, clean, healthy and glowing. Directions of use: Apply in a circular motion on the face and neck. Wipe...
